Kundapur: State minister Sunil Kumar pays visit to Hattiangadi Siddivinayaka temple

Kundapur, Aug 30: “B S Yediyurappa is one of the greatest leaders of the state. He is welcome to travel across the state for the betterment of the party organization. Anybody can build a party or organization but his guidance is necessary for the party and the government to function” stated the Power, Kannada and Culture minister, Sunil Kumar.

While speaking to the media after his visit to Hattiangadi Siddivinayaka temple with his family on Monday he said “The center has sent a circular to the state to control Coronavirus. The government has no disagreement with celebration but along with the celebration, there is a necessity to protect our health as well. Knowing the fact that these festivals have to be celebrated with utmost grandeur, as informed by the prime minister, we must avoid it ourselves. 

















 

“Around 20,000 Yakshagana artists were paid honorarium during Covid last time. The government has similar plans this time as well. Discussions in this regard will be held with the concerning officials after returning to Bengaluru. Sincere efforts will be made to bring novelty not only to Yakshagana but to all the academies. Most of the temples in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are being visited, today I have arrived at Kollur and Hattiangadi temple, ” he said.

Hattiangadi Siddivinayaka temple trustee Balachandra Bhat cordially invited the minister. Former Taluk panchayat member Karana Poojary, Hattiangadi gram panchayat president Amratha Shetty, member Chandra Mogaveera, BJP leader Prabhaker Shetty, Gururaj and others were present.
