Memorandum submitted to Nirani against closing Kalaburgi Doordarshan Kendra

Bengaluru, Aug 28: Large and Media Industries Minister Murugesh R Nirani was submitted a memorandum by Kannada activists against closing down the Doordarshan Kendra in Kalaburgi and maintain status quo.

Kalaburgi Cultural Unit leader Vijayakumar Tegalatippi, Shivaraj Andagi and Prabhava Pattanakar, Mahendra Kore and others submitted the memorandum at Kalaburgi on Saturday.

The Minister later released the BJP election manifesto for the Kalaburgi Municipal Corporation.
