Puttur: MLA promises to consider holding physical classes in taluk

Puttur, Aug 28: MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor, noted that Puttur taluk has the lowest positivity of 1.94 percent in the entire district. Therefore he said the prospects of reopening of schools in the taluk will be taken up with the concerned.

He was speaking after presiding over the annual general body meeting of the Arogya Raksha Samiti of Puttur government and public hospital recently.

He said that the deputy commissioner and district in-charge minister have also mentioned about Puttur having the lowest positivity rate.

The meeting also discussed the seven lac rupees electricity bill pending payment, insufficient kilowatt capacity of the solar system at the hospital etc.

Puttur tahsildar Ramesh Babu, taluk health officer Dr Deepak Rai, doctors and members of the committee were present.
