Finally, New Zealand Decide to Attend Games


Wellington, Sep 24 (IANS) The New Zealand contingent will participate in the Delhi Commonwealth Games after the country's Olympic Committee gave a green to signal Friday, ending days of speculation following concerns of hygiene and security.

The decision to attend the Oct 3-14 Games was announced Friday by New Zealand Olympic Committee (NZOC) president Mike Stanley and secretary-general Barry Maister.
