Bengaluru, Jul 20: Karnataka on Tuesday, July 20 registered 1,464 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 26,256. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 352.
As many as 29 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Tuesday, with Bengaluru Urban recording five deaths, the death toll in the state has risen to 36,226.
The state recorded 2706 discharges from hospitals on Tuesday, taking the total discharges to 28,24,197.
So far, Karnataka has seen 28,86,702 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 1.29% while the case fatality rate for the day is 1.98%.
As many as 2,77,03,469 people have received vaccination so far.
