Woods' Ex-wife to Launch Mental Clinic for Kids

London, Aug 30 (IANS) Elin Nordegren, ex-wife of golfer Tiger Woods, plans to spend some of her 65 million pounds divorce settlement on creating a mental health clinic for poor children.

The 30-year-old former Swedish model plans to complete a degree in mental health counselling by Christmas, before setting up the clinic, reports thesun.co.uk.

Elin has been studying part-time at Rollins College, near the Florida home where she lives with her children Sam, 3, and 19-month-old Charlie Axel.

A campus pal said: "She feels strongly that children are the real victims when marriages fail."

She divorced golf star Tiger, 34, after he admitted to extra-marital affairs.
