Udupi, May 17: MLA Raghupathi Bhat has handed over to the health department pulse oximeters bought for Rs 10 lac from the MLA development fund.

The oximeter helps to measure the oxygen saturation levels of those who are under isolation at homes without Covid symptoms.

The task force will visit the people who are in isolation at homes every day. The health of the patients improves if they are admitted to hospitals when their saturation levels go below 94. To monitor these levels, a pulse oximeter come in handy.

“Give the oximeter to those who have tested positive and in home isolation on a condition that the instrument should be returned after use,” he said.
