Awesome.....I endorse the suggestions from Bulsam. Hope the organizers will take them into consideration for future "AAHAR" events(epecially those related to food storage and hygiene).

Food festival idea was very good to taste different varieties, but they have to cover head gear as well as hand glues, you can see how he is making Dosa, Local People don’t know how they are preparing and serving to them, over all food festival is good for to taste diff varieties.

This is an excellent idea and an opportunity for the public to taste different varieties and the restaurant owners to display their best product to the general public in a common platform. In such food carnivals each restaurant should be given a food theme which they are special in and that restaurant should create their culinary talents on that theme. Secondly, it is a carnival hence the rate should be very nominal and the actual rate may be mentioned inside the bracket. Thirdly, each theme should be different from one another so the public will get the opportunity to taste different food at different counters and not same food at different counters.

Finally, there should be a health education by MCC Health Department to the participating restaurant owners and the cooks/chefs about the minimum hygiene standards like clean environment, compulsory uniform with head-gear & hand-gloves while dealing with food, conditioned freezers & fridges for storages, strictly not to carryover the previous days leftovers and to install standard fixtures, chimneys & equipments etc. that they should maintain. To conclude, the best three hygiene restaurants in town and the best three theme food creators on this carnival should be awarded.
