Kasargod: New residence of parish priest of St John De Britto Church inaugurated

Kasargod, Dec 16: Bishop of Mangaluru diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated and blessed the new residence of parish priest of St John De Britto church of Narampady on Saturday, December 14.

The holy Eucharistic Mass that was offered on the occasion was led by Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha. Kasargod zonal vicarwar and parish priest of Mother of Sorrows Church Bela Fr John Vaz, rector of Mangaluru seminary Fr Ronald Serrao, parish priest of Narampady church Fr John Baptist Moras and priests of Kasargod zone and diocese took part in the celebration.



Bishop Saldanha presided over the stage programme that was held after the Mass. Vicrawar of Kasargod zone and parish priest of Mother of Sorrows Church Bela Fr John Vaz, director of Mangaluru seminary Fr Ronald Serrao, parish priest of St John De Britto church Narampady John Baptist Moras, superior of convent Sr Helen, vice president of pastoral council of church Joseph Monteiro and secretary Metilda D Almeida were present.

Chief donors of the residential building Michael D'Souza Mangaluru, Vincent D'Sa Mumbai and Roshan Marits of Borimar were felicitated on the occasion. The labourers who worked for the construction of the residential building and others who helped were also honoured on the occasion.

Jerome D'Souza and family handed over a cheque of Rs one lac to the bishop as donation for the Mangaluru seminary.
