Volatile Trading Continues at Markets


Mumbai, July 10 (IANS): Indian equities markets were trading volatile Friday afternoon, with a key index ruling seven points lower than its last close about two hours before closing bell.

Around 1.30 p.m., the benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Sensex, which opened at 13,803.12 points was trading at 13,757.27 points, 7.66 points or 0.06 percent below Thursday's closing figure.    

Around the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was, however, ruling 0.1 percent higher at 4,085.1 points.    

Broader market indices were doing better, with the BSE midcap index up 0.63 percent and the BSE smallcap index trading 0.62 percent higher.
