Mumbai, Oct 9: Governor S C Jamir greeted and conveyed his good wishes to the people of Maharashtra and Maharashtrians living all over the world, on the occasion of ‘Dasara’ and ‘Vijayadashami’.
 
In his message, the Governor said that Dasara is one of the important festivals of India, celebrating the victory of goodness over evil. Today, vested interests are trying to create disharmony in society on the basis of caste, creed, and religion. It is the duty of all right-thinking people to isolate such elements and create goodwill among all sections of society.
