Mangalore: Skyline Construction's 200 Crore Venture in City

Mangalore, Jul 21: Skyline Constructions and Housing Private Limited, one of the top builders in Karnataka and creators of luxury homes launched their 'Blueberry Hills' project in Mangalore on Friday.

Avinash Prabhu, Managing Director, Skyline Constructions on the occasion announced that Skyline would invest over Rs 200 crore in Mangalore across verticals like residential and commercials.

Addressing the media Prabhu said: "We bring with us international architectural and landscaping consultants, who will bring in world-class quality and premium products to Mangalore. Skyline's Blueberry hill project is the first premium product that we will offer to Mangalore. We are the first to bring in renowned architectural firm Team 2 designs and landscaping consultants Terrafirma to Mangalore."

Dhiraj Prabhu, Director will be based in Mangalore office to take care of the 'Blueberry Hills' project and its sales, he added.

Briefing about the Blueberry Hills project Diraj Prabhu said: "We chose this site for its sheer beauty. It overlooks a lush green valley and coastal line at the distant horizon. It is only appropriate for us to launch an equally beautiful housing project in this vicinity."  

The Mangalore project will have two blocks that houses 40 and 32 apartments (3BHK and 2 BHK).

"We have witnessed exemplary feedback from our customers and envisaged plans for expanding from Bangalore to Chennai, Mysore , Kochi and now to Mangalore. With our strong foothold in South India we have also have our global representations in the United States and Dubai," Avinash said. 

The luxury homes provider, who presently enjoys a strong presence in Bangalore and Mysore, has entered the Mangalore market because of its immense potential. 

Elaborating on why Mangalore was chosen to invest Rs 200 crores Avinash Prabhu said "Mangalore is rapidly evolving as a major IT/BPO destination, with major international players, top investors and multinationals considering Mangalore for setting up varied businesses."

Skyline Construction is a 125-year-old, family-owned enterprise. The foundation of the company began in the late 1800s. By 1988 Skyline had bevy of prestigious projects, most of them were considered golden landmarks. Over the years Skyline has completed over 60 projects, adding up to over four million square feet in residential, commercial and industrial space.
