Mangalore, Jun 8: Noel Quadros (34) resident of Shirva and former president of Majur Gram Panchayat ended his life by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house on Friday June 8.
Noel was a resident of Heroor-Kallagudde near Bantakal. He was the president of Majur GP between from 2000-02. His wife Prameela Quadros is an official with the postal department.
He is said to have hung himself on Friday when there was no one in the house. So far reasons for suicide are not known. However, it is presumed that financial constraints might have pushed him to take this extreme step.
He survived by father, mother, wife and a son. Shirva police have registered a case in this regard.
