Mangalore, Jun 8: Former president of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) Shashidhar Shetty, raised serious questions about a unit of KRV being inaugurated in Dakshina Kannada on Friday June 8.

Speaking to the presspersons here on Thursday, he questioned the motives of the state president  Narayana Gowda in launching a parallel unit of KRV in the district. Producing a photo copy, he said the KRV under his presidentship was a registered body, while that intended to be launched on June 8 was not.

The intention is to create confusion and a rift among the people, he added, saying that a complaint was being filed in this regard to the deputy commissioner and district superintendent of police.
