Udupi, Jun 8: Jayant Mogera (29), a fisherman form Bhatkal who had gone on fishing, is reported to be missing from here on Monday June 4.
Jayant, who had gone for fishing along with six others in a boat from Malpe fisheries harbour, is said to have slipped off the boat into the sea and was not seen ever since.
High tides and rough sea are said to have caused his slipping off. He is feared to be dead and a case has been registered at the Malpe police station.
