Mangalore, Jun 7: Labour minister Iqbal Ansari, who had kept his party members fuming and the media guessing over his controversial statements regarding the tenure of chief minister Kumaraswamy, has dropped yet another bombshell.
His latest statement is that if the CM hands over the power to BJP, he would resign from his post.
Ansari has further clarified that being a Muslim, he cannot tolerate transfer of power to BJP, and hence it would be better for him to resign.
A statement that has put the CM in some jeopardy, Ansari’s words reflect the mood within the coalition government, especially after the huge defeat in Ullal.
