Bale rejoins Real Madrid training

Madrid, May 1 (IANS): Spanish football giants Real Madrid's forward Gareth Bale rejoined the team's training session after recovering from his recent muscle injury, proving to Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti that he can feature in Saturday's match against Sevilla in La Liga.

Bale can now return to the field after being sidelined for 12 days with injury, he suffered during the tie against Malaga on April 18, reports Efe.

Bale has completed a specific recovery plan from his hamstring injury that took him out of the Champions League quarterfinals against Atletico Madrid and two La Liga games, against Celta Vigo and Almeria.

It will be up to Ancelotti to determine if Bale will be ready for Saturday's match.

Real Madrid are currently in second place in La Liga with 82 points, just two behind leading Barcelona.
