Rain plays an important element in my next: R. Kannan

Chennai, March 19 (IANS): If it was a train that was an integral part of filmmaker R. Kannan's last Tamil outing "Oru Oorla Rendu Raja", it's rain again in his upcoming release "Poda Aandavane En Pakkam", which is set to go on floors soon.

"Most of the story unfolds during the monsoon. Rain will play an important element in this beautiful love story," Kannan told IANS.

Kannan, who will be producing the film under his home banner, has already started working on the pre-production.

"We've already erected two important sets. Some portions of the film will be shot in these sets, while we also plan to head to Canada for a ten-day schedule to can the songs. The regular shooting will start from May," he said.

While Vishnu Vishal plays the male lead, "Pisasu" fame Prayaga Martin has been roped in to play the female lead.
