LFW: Shraddha, Aditya to walk for Jabong.com's foreign brands

Mumbai, March 18 (IANS): The ongoing edition of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) here will witness e-commerce platform Jabong.com's exclusive showcases of Germany-based brand Tom Tailor and Miss Bennett London, for which Bollywood's young talents Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will walk the ramp, respectively.

Both the brands will be exclusively available in India through Jabong, which is the associate sponsor of the Lakme Fashion Week summer-resort 2015 -- the edition which celebrates 15 years of the fashion event.

Miss Bennett London is known for clothes catering to fashion-forward girls with no inhibitions. That's why it makes sense for the brand to bring Shraddha as the showstopper at the Jabong stage, a show area at LFW, on Thursday.

Shraddha is excited about it. Talking about the brand, she said: "It's a very young, chic brand which I instantly connected with. On some levels, I like to dress up the same way -- with no inhibitions."

Aditya, on the other hand, will flaunt the spring-summer'15 collection of Tom Tailor on Friday at the main stage arena of the event.

"Walking the stage for Tom Tailor exclusively brought by Jabong in India, is quite thrilling. The idea of being part of the brand's India journey is what is exciting. I completely believe in Tom Tailor's slogan -- 'Life is a game, play it, be confident, dress in style'. While dressing up, I like to keep it casual yet stylish," said Aditya.

The Tom Tailor launch show at LFW will also feature a performance by songstress Monica Dogra.

Arun Chandra Mohan, founder and CEO, Jabong.com, said: "It has been our constant endeavour to bring best of fashion to our customers and this year is particularly exciting as we showcase Miss Bennett London and bring to India the most sought after urban brand - Tom Tailor."
