Los Angeles, March 17 (IANS): Reality TV star Scott Disick checked into a luxury rehab in Costa Rica to deal with his alcohol problems, following a a tequila-fuelled weekend.
“The Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, who has three children with Kourtney Kardashian, issued a statement regarding his "struggle", reports tmz.com.
"I realise my issues are bigger than me and I'm ready to truly remedy this struggle I continue to battle," the 31-year-old said in a statement.
As for his treatment, the star said he is doing Iboga treatment, which involves roots from a small African tree that helps people battle addiction.
Disick has endured a public battle with alcohol over the years and was hospitalised last summer for drinking and taking sleeping pills while filming "Kourtney & Khloe Take The Hamptons".
