Mangalore, Nov 30: For a second time within a month, MCC politics has gone upto police station.  It was not long ago that James D'Souza had filed a case against fellow corporator Kamalaksha Salian alleging that he had forced him to vote him for the post of president of a standing committee.  This had led for more confusion and finally Kavita Sanil and James D'Souza were suspended from Congress.

Now after high melodrama during MCC meeting on Wednesday November 29 evening in which James and Kavita were once again in the centre of controversies, MCC commissioner Krishnappa Poojary has filed a case against one Jeevan D'Souza for using abusive language and threatening with life to him and corporator Kamalaksha Salian.  Apparently, Jeevan D'Souza is the son of James D'Souza.  He was present in MCC meet on Wednesday.

On the other hand, James too has gone upto the police.  In a complaint filed with the Barke police he has stated that he and his son Jeevan were abused and threatened by Kamalaksha Salian.

Whatever it may be, there is nothing wrong to say that these corporators are taking the voters for ride.  While they do not have time and money for developmental works in the city, they have ample resources to stage these kinds of melodramas, said an middle-aged businessman who was in MCC complex during Wednesday's 'free show.'
