Man murders pregnant wife over marital discord

New Delhi, Oct 30 (IANS): A 35-year-old pregnant woman was strangled by her husband over a marital discord, police said Thursday. The man has been arrested.

"Babli's body was found by her brother Bhole Shankar at her home in New Usmanpur area in east Delhi Thursday morning," a police officer said.

Bhole Shankar told police that Babli's husband Kali Charan had told him that his wife was not well.

"Kali Charan has been arrested from their house. He confessed to his crime," the officer added.

Babli is survived by three children.
