Havana Oct 14 (IANS): Cuba's national football team will play French Guiana in the opening game of the Caribbean Cup final round, to be held Nov 10-17 in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (Concacaf) announced Monday that Group A features reigning champions Cuba, Guiana, Curacao and Trinidad and Tobago, while Group B consists hosts Jamaica, Antigua and Barbuda, Martinique and Haiti, reports Xinhua.

Following the opening match, Cuba will play Curacao Nov 12, and two days later, clash with the their strongest rival, Trinidad and Tobago.

Jamaica make their debut Nov 11 against Martinique, then face Antigua and Barbuda on the 13th, and conclude the group round Nov 15 against Haiti.

The winner of each group will vie for the championship title Nov 17.

The four top teams of the Caribbean Cup will qualify for the 2015 Concacaf Gold Cup, while the winner of the tournament will qualify for the Centennial Copa America, which will feature national teams from 10 South American nations, plus six teams of the Concacaf in a continental championship to be played in June in the US.

The six Concacaf teams include the US, Mexico and Costa Rica, plus the winner of the Caribbean Cup and the two best teams from the Gold Cup.
