Rio de Janeiro, Aug 29 (IANS): Udinese have completed the signing of midfielder Lucas Evangelista from Brazil's Sao Paulo.
The 19-year-old was sold to the Italian Serie A outfit for 4,000,000 euros, Xinhua cited from the Sao Paulo statement on its official website.
The Brazilian club will receive 60 percent of the transfer fee with the remainder going to sports marketing firm Traffic.
Evangelista is the second Sao Paulo player to join European sides in less than a week.
On Tuesday, Barcelona confirmed the signing of left-back Douglas on a five-year deal, also for 4,000,000 euros.
Evangelista made 33 first-team appearances for Sao Paulo and scored two goals.
