Charlotte to bid for NBA All-Star game


Washington, Aug 13 (IANS): The Charlotte Hornets and the Charlotte Sports Foundation will bid for hosting the National Basketball Association (NBA) All-Star Weekend in 2017 or 2018.

There would be eight to 10 other cities to compete with Charlotte for the game, reports Xinhua.

Charlotte, the largest city in North Carolina, last hosted the All-Star game in 1991.
