Rajput clinches men's 50m rifle 3 positions silver, Narang bronze


Glasgow, July 29 (IANS): Indian shooters Sanjeev Rajput and Gagan Narang claimed the silver and bronze, respectively, in the men's 50-metre rifle 3 positions at the Commonwealth Games here Tuesday.

With 452.9 points, England's Daniel Rivers clinched the gold, his second medal in the 2014 Games while Rajput and Narang finished with scores of 446.9 and 436.8 respectively at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre.

Rivers had earlier won the bronze in the men's 10m air rifle event.
