England 18/1 at tea, 301 runs behind


London, July 20 (IANS): England were 18 for one, 301 runs in deficit, at tea after bowling out India for 342 in the second innings on day four of the second cricket Test at Lord's here Sunday.

A brilliant 99-run partnership for the eighth wicket between Ravindra Jadeja (68) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (52) helped India set a 319-run target for England.

England lost opener Sam Robson (7) early in the run chase. Captain Alastair Cook (5) and Gary Ballance were unbeaten at the crease at tea.
