Galliani hopes Kaka will stay at Milan for years

Milan, April 5 (IANS): AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani said he hopes Brazil star Kaka will remain at the Italian football club for many years to come.

The Brazilian was presented with a medal by club president Silvio Berlusconi after he made his 300th appearance for the Milan side last weekend, reports Xinhua.

Amidst speculation that Kaka could go to the United States to continue his career, Galliani told Milan Channel that he hoped the Brazilian would stay at Milan for some more years.

"He still hasn't played at Milan for seven years yet," he said. "So getting to 300 games already is incredible, he has had a great season."

"The hope of the club, and of Kaka too I hope, is that he stays and celebrates his 400th, 500th and who knows how many more appearances," he said.

"He is in the hearts of all Milan fans. He is still a kid, he can still play in so many other matches. I am happy to have met him and I hope he is happy to have found Milan. I hope he can stay with us for a long time," he added.

Kaka also expressed his gratification when celebrating his 300th appearance for the Rossoneri.

"I am very happy to have reached 300 matches," Kaka told Milan Channel.

"I would like to echo what Galliani just said. The feelings that I have for this club, this shirt, my former teammates and my current teammates are real and from the heart," he said.

"I hope I can make many more appearances," he said.
