West Indies bowled out for 234


Kolkata, Nov 6 (IANS): Debutant pacer Mohammed Shami picked up four for 71 as India bowled out the West Indies for 234 in the first innings shortly after tea on the first day of the first cricket Test at the Eden Gardens here Wednesday.

Marlon Samuels was the top scorer with 65 while Shivnarine Chanderpaul made 36.

Besides Shami, offie Ravichandran Ashwin bagged two for 52 while Bhuvneshwar Kumar got one for 33.
