Mangalore, Mar 8: The Corporation Bank situated in the Mangalore City Corporation building at Lalbagh here, was threatened with a hoax call saying that a bomb had been planted in the premises.

At around 10.20 am in the morning on Tuesday March 7, an anonymous caller informed that 2 bombs have been planted in the bank and one would trigger at 2 pm in the afternoon and the other at 3 pm.

The bank authorities later informed the police about the call. Police personnel from Barke police station  were rushed into action, only to find out that it was a hoax call.
