Mangalore, Mar 4: The Pandeshwar police have arrested 2 more persons in connection with the fake RC racket on Friday March 3. With this the total number of persons arrested in the case has gone up to 10. The police have also seized on Qualis vehicle. Accordingly, so far 8 vehicles have been seized by police in this regard.
On Friday the police arrested Hariprasad, manager of a bank, and one Siddique Abdul Khadar for their alleged involvement in the case. The ICICI bank manager has been arrested for cooperating with the accused even after knowing about the fake RC racket. It is complained that he used to arrange loan for the accused even after knowing about the RC scam.
Earlier the police had arrested 7 persons for availing loans from the banks by producing fake RC book. The police had also seized fake stamps and seals belonging to Shimogga, Mysore, Udupi, Mangalore and Bangalore RTOs.
