Karkala, Mar 4: The Naxalites are on a prowl.  While there is a lot of debate going on about nabbing them and controlling them, the formers manage to go on with their activities as usual.  The press release that reached the press persons on Friday is another example of it.

The press release by the CPI (M) Coastal Area Committee justified their attack on one Sadanand Shetty alias Kutty Shetty's house at Mutlupady near here on Monday February 27.  The press release further stated that Kutty Shetty has been asked to fulfill certain demand within a specific time period.  If he fails in this, he will have to face the consequences, stated the press release.

Accordingly the Naxals have ordered Kutty Shetty to pay equal wages to both men and women and pay Rs 1,500 as salary to the house servants instead of the Rs 800 paid right now.  He has also been warned against stealing forest produces for his personal use.  Moreover, he has been asked not to give any information about the whereabouts of Naxalites to the police.

The Naxalites said that on Monday they have warned Kutty Shetty and have set his mobike on fire but not hurt him physically.

If these above demands are not fulfilled in the next 3 months, the Naxals added, that Kutty Shettys' life would be in danger.
