Bangalore, Mar 4: The Lioness Club of  Bangalore-Kalyananagar  organized a free eye check-up camp for over 1,000 students from Class 1 to Class X of Maxwell Public School on March 3.



Dr. Zameendar of Zameendar Clinic was kind enough to offer her services free of charge.  Dr Anila Damodar was one of the main doctors screening the eyes. All the students were checked for eyesight and were given relevant prescription and advice.


The camp lasted from 9am to 2pm. There was a great appreciation for the school and the Lioness club from the parents. Lioness Ushakumari – Principal of Maxwell Public School, Councillor – Lioness Jessie Rodrigues, President – Lioness Satyageetha Rani and the members of the club along with the teachers gave a helping hand in the success of the camp.
