Mangalore, Mar 4: In the ongoing drive against drug peddlers the Pandeshwar police arrested two more drug peddlers on Thursday March 2.  Both of them were arrested for selling hemp in the city. While one has been arrested under the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Act, the other has been booked under Preventive Section of Law.

The arrested have been identified as Sadik (50), son of Ibrahim from Kannur in Kerala and Krishna Kutty (54), son of Johnny from Mallapuram in Kerala.  The police have also confiscated 200 grams of hemp from the former. 

Both of them were remanded for judicial custody after they were produced before the magistrate by the police.
