Mangalore Mar 3: The III district convention of the Lions Club- ‘Simha Milan 2006’ will be held on Saturday March 4 at St Aloysius College Grounds. This was informed by Lions Club district governor Kripa Amar Alva on Thursday March 2.

The event, hosted by Lions Club Mangalore-Pandeshwar will be attended by international president Ashok Mehta and will be presided over by Kripa Amar Alva herself. District gdeputy governor Udayshankar Shet will release the souvenir.

A unique event, as Kripa Alva stated, ‘Simha Milan’ is being organized for the first time in the district.

A district Leo conference will also be held on the same day which will be presided over by district Leo president B Harshavardhan Shet.  Kripa Alva will inaugurate the conference while Leo district chairman M Arun Shetty will be the guest of honour.

The III district Lions conference will be held at Loyola Hall.
