Mangalore, Mar 2: State fisheries and horticulture minister and Bantwal MLA B Nagraj Shetty, medical education and animal husbandry minister Dr V S Acharya and transport minister N Cheluvarayaswamy will be felicitated on Saturday March 4 at a function to be held at Milagres Jubilee Hall at 4.30 in the evening.

The felicitation programme has been organized by Kanara Bus Owners Association, Dakshina Kannada Bus Owners Association and Civic Felicitation Committee.

This was announced in a press conference by K Rajvarma Ballal, president, Kanara Bus Owners Association on Wednesday March 1 here.

The programme will be presided over by mayor K Ashraf while Shri Vidyaprasannatheertha Swamiji of Kukke Subrahmanya Math and Shri Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Jain Math of Moodbidri too will invoke God's blessings during the ceremony.

Moodbidri MLA K Abhaychandra Jain, Suratkal MLA J Krishna Palemar, Mangalore MLA N Yogish Bhat and Dr B R Shetty, managing director of New Medical Centre, Abu Dhabi will grace the occasion.

Office bearers of DK Bus Owners Association Aziz Partipady, B Bhaskar Salian, and Gopal Shetty, Civic Felicitation Committee president K Anantram Rao too were present at the press conference.
