WWII Bomb Bound at Moscow Stadium Site


Moscow, Nov 27 (IANS/RIA Novosti): An object believed to be an unexploded WWII aerial bomb has been found at a construction site in Moscow, a police spokesperson said here Monday.

"Today at 2.49 p.m. we were informed that an object that looks like a WWII aerial bomb had been found during construction work…," the spokesperson said, adding that a bomb squad, handlers with detection dogs and a team of investigators had been sent to the scene.

A stadium is being built for Moscow's FC Spartak at the location where the bomb was found, according to public records.
