Mangaluru, Sep 28: The Mangalore zone inter-collegiate men’s and women’s table tennis tournament 2026–27, organized in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, was held on September 25 at the Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences, Valachil Campus, Mangaluru.

A total of 18 college teams participated in the tournament. In the men’s category, the first prize was won by AJ Institute of Medical Sciences, while Father Muller Medical College, secured the second prize. In the women’s category, the first prize was won by SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences, Ujire, Father Muller College of Physiotherapy, secured the second prize.

Dr Ramesh H N, assistant director of physical education, was the chief guest of the programme.The dignitaries present on the dais included Harish Gowda, director of physical education; Prof Pradeep M, principal, Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences, Supriya Adiga, physical education teacher, and Pranam Shetty, physical education teacher, Srinivas Group of Colleges.
