Mangaluru, Jun 30: Lourdes Central School (LCS) organized an Art Integrated Exhibition on Tuesday, June 30 at the LCS Conference Hall and respective classrooms, bringing together creativity, culture, and learning under the theme ‘Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat’. The exhibition showcased the rich heritage and traditions of Karnataka and Uttarakhand through innovative student projects.

The inaugural ceremony was held in the presence of the principal Fr Johnson L Sequeira, along with teachers and students. Addressing the gathering, the principal highlighted India’s diverse culture and explained how each state has its own unique history, art, food, lifestyle, and traditions. He appreciated the efforts of students in exploring the culture of Karnataka and Uttarakhand and encouraged them to continue developing creativity, teamwork, research skills, and communication abilities.

He also appreciated the students of grade 8A, their class teacher Rekha, and the music teachers for their contribution towards the inaugural ceremony. Special wishes were also extended to Anitha Menezes on her birthday.

The exhibition featured a wide range of creative displays prepared by students from grades I to XII. Through various projects, students beautifully presented the connection between art and academics by integrating subjects such as languages, mathematics, artificial intelligence, and more.

The young learners showcased their talents through colourful drawings, creative charts, informative models, and cultural presentations. Students also prepared traditional dishes through no-fire cooking activities, giving visitors a glimpse into the food culture of Karnataka and Uttarakhand. Adding more vibrancy to the event, students dressed in traditional attire representing both states, creating a lively and cultural atmosphere.

The exhibition reflected the enthusiasm, dedication, and imagination of the students, providing them with a platform to learn beyond textbooks and celebrate India’s unity in diversity. The initiative encouraged students to understand and appreciate different cultures while expressing their creativity with confidence and joy.
