Bantwal: U T Khader seeks blessings from Janardhana Poojary, vows to uphold district’s honour

Bantwal, June 7: Health minister UT Khader said he will function like previous public representatives and work to bring honour to the district, adding that he seeks everyone’s blessings as he carries out his responsibilities.

He was speaking after visiting the residence of former union minister B Janardhana Poojary at B C Road on Sunday evening.

Khader described Janardhana Poojary as his political mentor who played a pivotal role in shaping his public life. “Janardhana Poojary is my political guru who nurtured me in politics from my college days. He guided me, corrected me when I erred, and encouraged me to do good work. I will never forget him,” he said.

He further added that after taking oath as minister, he has been visiting places of all faiths to seek blessings.

Janardhana Poojary, in turn, blessed Khader and urged him to treat Congress workers as the backbone of the party, cautioning him never to keep them waiting or forget them, and to continue serving the public with commitment.

A large number of party leaders and workers were present on the occasion, including Deepak Poojary, Padmaraj R Poojary, Bharat Mundodi, Dr Rajaram, Abbas Ali, Chandrashekhar Bhandary, Appi, Josmin, Shailaja Rajesh, Ramlal Pudur, UT Fareed, Umar Farooq, Balakrishna Anchan, Sanjeev Poojary, Ramesh Boliyar, Pius Rodrigues, Rizwan, Padmanabha Rai, Baby Kundar, Chandraprakash Shetty, Sadashiva Ullal, Razak Kukkaje, Abdul EB, Rajasekhar Shetty, Suresh Navoor, Iqbal and others.
