Mangaluru, Mar 26: myG Future, one of India’s fastest-growing and most trusted electronics retail networks, marked its official entry into Karnataka with the grand inauguration of its large-format flagship showroom at Falnir, Mangaluru, on Thursday, March 26.
The new showroom, branded "myG Future – The Game Changer," was inaugurated by pan-Indian actor, director, and producer Rishab Shetty, in the presence of chairman A K Shaji, actor Swaraj Shetty, and other dignitaries. The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and formal inauguration. The dignitaries later felicitated chief guest Rishab Shetty as a mark of respect and appreciation.
Sprawling across nearly 25,000 square feet, the myG Future showroom is designed as a large-format technology destination offering a wide range of products including smartphones, televisions, laptops, home appliances, gaming products, kitchen appliances, and smart home automation solutions under one roof. The showroom aims to provide customers with a modern and immersive electronics shopping experience supported by expert staff and reliable after-sales service.
Speaking on the occasion, Rishab Shetty expressed happiness over the opening of myG’s first showroom outside Kerala and wished the company success in its expansion across Karnataka. He appreciated the concept of a large technology experience center, stating that such initiatives bring advanced technology and better shopping experiences closer to the people.
Chairman A K Shaji said that myG Future represents the company’s vision of creating larger, immersive, and future-ready technology discovery spaces for customers. He added that Mangaluru was the ideal city to introduce this format in Karnataka and that the company aims not only to provide a superior retail experience but also to contribute to employment generation and retail skill development in the region.
The opening of the showroom is expected to generate direct and indirect employment opportunities in retail operations, logistics, customer service, and related sectors, contributing to the local economy.
