Youth from Kadaba found mysteriously dead in Ireland

Kadaba, Feb 19: A 31-year-old youth hailing from Kadaba in Dakshina Kannada district, who had moved to Ireland for employment, was found dead at his residence in Dublin on Thursday, February 19.

The deceased has been identified as Sanjo Sunil, son of Sunil, a resident of Vimalagiri in Kutrupady village, Kadaba. He was residing in the Charlestown area of Finglas in Dublin, Ireland.

His body was found at his home on Thursday. Irish police reached the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation. While it is suspected to be a case of suicide, the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained. The police are investigating the case as a suspicious death.

Sanjo Sunil had married only a year ago. His wife, Lishma Philip, works as a nurse in Ireland. Sanjo, who was previously employed in Israel, had moved to Ireland just a month ago to join his wife and start a new job.

Upon hearing the news of her husband's death, Lishma Philip reportedly collapsed due to shock and has been hospitalised.

Irish police are currently carrying out the post-mortem and other legal formalities. The family is expected to seek government assistance to bring the mortal remains back to his hometown.

The deceased is survived by his wife, parents, and two brothers.
