Mangaluru, Nov 15: Children’s Day was celebrated with profound enthusiasm and heartfelt exuberance at St Agnes Kindergarten School (CBSE) on November 14.
The celebration unfolded as a radiant tribute to the boundless joy, innocence, and promise embodied by the young learners. Every segment of the programme was meticulously curated and gracefully presented by the teachers as a warm token of affection and appreciation for their little ones. The day commenced with a soulful prayer song that invoked god’s blessings upon all the children. This was followed by a touching prayer service that featured heartfelt intentions for the well-being, happiness, and holistic growth of every child.

A significant highlight of the celebration was a meaningful skit titled “Helping Each Other.” Through expressive enactment, the teachers showcased the virtues of kindness, cooperation, and compassion. The skit gently reminded everyone that true happiness stems from selfless acts and mutual support, values that the school endeavours to instil in its students.
Adding a burst of colour and energy, the teachers performed a vibrant filmy fusion dance. The lively music and graceful moves filled the stage with joy and enthusiasm. The children clapped and cheered for their teachers, enjoying every moment of the performance. The dance truly added sparkle to the celebration.
The significance of the day was then articulated, highlighting the life, values, and enduring affection of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for children. The event concluded with an inspiring message by the principal Sr Letitia AC, who appreciated the teachers and blessed the children, urging them to grow with confidence, joy, and compassion.
