15th convocation of the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) to be held on Nov 15

Mangaluru, Nov 11: Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) is all set to host its fifteenth convocation ceremony on Saturday, November 15, at the Yendurance Zone, located in the University’s Deralakatte campus, Mangaluru.

The convocation will be graced by Prof Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, vice-chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, who will be addressing the convocation ceremony as the chief guest. Dr Taslimarif Saiyed, director and CEO of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), Bengaluru, will be the guest of honour.

The ceremony will be presided over by the chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi. Dr M Vijayakumar, vice-chancellor Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), will present the University Report, highlighting key academic and institutional milestones.

A total of 3,729 students including gold medallists, PhD scholars, and degree recipients will be conferred their degrees across a wide range of faculties including medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Science, Arts and social sciences, commerce, and management.

The convocation stands to honour the hard work of its graduates and reaffirm the University’s commitment to nurturing future-ready professionals who embody academic excellence, compassion, and service to society.
