Mangaluru, Nov 10: To enhance classroom learning through real-world exposure, St Agnes School (CBSE) organized educational field trips for students from Kindergarten to Grade X between October 28 and 31, 2025. These excursions extended learning beyond the classroom enabling students to explore science, culture, technology, media and recreation while fostering curiosity and joyful engagement.
The kindergarten students of St Agnes Preparatory School set out on an exciting field trip on October 31 visiting the Pandeshwar post office, fire station and Kadri Park. At the post office the young learners observed how letters are sorted and delivered while at the fire station they learned about the firefighters’ dedication to public safety. The day ended with cheerful play at Kadri Park making it a delightful blend of learning and enjoyment.





















































































Students of Grades I and II went on an enriching educational field trip on October 30 exploring various centres of learning and innovation. Grade I students visited the Yenepoya Laundry and Food Craft Unit, the Pottery Studio at Urwa and Gandhi Park where they learned about food preparation, pottery and cleanliness. Grade II students visited Yenepoya’s Food and Laundry units and the Hebich Technical Training Institute gaining practical insights into hygiene, safety and modern technology. The trip nurtured curiosity, teamwork and joyful learning among the young explorers.
Students of Grades III and IV went on educational field trips that blended learning with exploration. On October 29, Grade III students visited the Aloysius Museum, Basel Mission, Printing Press at Balmatta, Akashavani (AIR) and Kadri Park where they gained insights into history, printing and radio production before enjoying moments of recreation. Meanwhile Grade IV explored the Aloysius Museum, Hebich Technical Training Institute and KMF learning about cultural heritage, technical education and dairy processing. The experiences enriched their understanding through meaningful hands-on learning beyond the classroom.
Grade V students visited the Pilikula Science Centre and Hebich Technical Training Institute, Balmatta on October 28, where they explored interactive exhibits and observed machines used in technical education deepening their interest in science and innovation. On October 31, Grade VI students travelled to Manipal visiting the Udayavani Press, Anatomy Museum and Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village to gain insights into media, human anatomy and traditional architecture. The trip offered a rich blend of learning and exploration.
Grade VII students embarked on an educational trip to Manipal on October 30 where they visited the Udayavani Press, the Museum of Anatomy and Pathology and the Hasta Shilpa Heritage Village Museum. The trip offered valuable insights into media production, human anatomy and traditional craftsmanship broadening their knowledge through real-world learning experiences.
Students of Grades VIII, IX and X enjoyed a refreshing and fun-filled outing to Manasa Amusement and Water Park, Pilikula on October 28. Accompanied by their teachers the students spent the day engaging in recreational activities that fostered bonding, relaxation and joy. The trip served as a well-deserved break from academic routines creating cherished memories and strengthening camaraderie among students and staff.
Under the guidance of principal Sr Maria Sarika AC, the educational field trips were thoughtfully organized to ensure both safety and enrichment. These experiential journeys deepened students’ understanding of classroom concepts while nurturing curiosity, teamwork and a love for learning beyond textbooks. The school management has extended gratitude to the teachers and support staff for their dedicated supervision that made each trip memorable.
