Indapur, Oct 27: A major political upheaval has shaken Indapur taluk as three close associates of former minister Harshvardhan Patil have decided to cross over to the camp of Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane, dealing a severe blow to Patil’s long-standing political base.

According to reliable sources, former municipal president Ashok Ijagude, former Harshvardhan Motor Transport Union president Raghunath Raut, and former corporator Gorakh Shinde are set to formally join Bharane’s camp in Mumbai within the next two days. The joining ceremony will reportedly take place in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Minister Dattatray Bharane.
