Mangaluru, Sep 10: Teachers’ Day was celebrated at St Theresa’s School with great enthusiasm and joy on September 5 to honour and appreciate the invaluable contribution of teachers in shaping the lives of students. The celebration was filled with gratitude, love and heartfelt appreciation for the educators who guide, inspire and nurture young minds.

The students presented a variety of cultural programmes and performances dedicated to their teachers. Through their presentations, they beautifully highlighted the importance of teachers in our lives and emphasised that teaching is the profession that gives birth to every other profession. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists and professionals in every field begin their journey under the guidance of a teacher. Truly, the teacher lays the foundation for every profession.

The celebration also included fun and entertaining games, creating moments of laughter, relaxation and togetherness among the teachers. The teachers participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the joyful spirit of the celebration.

As a token of love and appreciation, gifts were presented to the teachers by the students. These thoughtful gestures reflected the students’ respect and gratitude for the patience, dedication and care shown by their teachers throughout the year.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt message of thanks from the principal to the students for organising such a thoughtful celebration and for making the day special and memorable for all the teachers.
