Bournemouth, Oct 4: Antoine Semenyo’s brilliance in the final minutes helped Bournemouth overturn a 1-0 deficit to beat Fulham 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium on Friday, moving the Cherries up to second in the Premier League.
Ryan Sessegnon had put Fulham ahead in the 70th minute, but Semenyo’s mazy run and clinical finish eight minutes later sparked the comeback. Justin Kluivert then scored a stunning long-range strike before Semenyo sealed the win deep into stoppage time, marking his sixth goal in seven league games.

The victory keeps Bournemouth just one point behind leaders Liverpool, despite losing key defenders Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Illia Zabarnyi over the summer. “We lost so many important players, but the start to the season has been great,” said Semenyo.
Fulham remain 11th with eight points from seven games. Boss Marco Silva expressed frustration: “It’s very tough for us the way we lost. The game was totally under control at 1-0.”
