Mumbai, Sep 29: Bollywood actor Sohail Khan delighted fans on Monday by posting a rare family photo featuring his father and veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, mother Salma Khan, and stepmother Helen, capturing the close-knit bond of the Khan household.

Sharing the warm image on Instagram, Sohail playfully captioned it, “The best triangular series ever played,” a cheeky nod to the family’s well-known love for cricket. The post came a day after India’s thrilling five-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup final in Dubai.

The photograph shows Salim Khan seated with Salma and Helen in a relaxed setting, reflecting the mutual respect that has defined their blended family over decades.

Salim Khan, celebrated writer of Bollywood classics like Sholay and Zanjeer, married Salma (born Sushila Charak) in 1964. The couple shares four children—superstar Salman Khan, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira Agnihotri—and later adopted daughter Arpita. In 1981, Salim married iconic dancer-actress Helen, a relationship he candidly acknowledged to his family.

Over the years, both Salma and Helen have spoken of the challenges and grace it took to maintain harmony. Helen has often expressed gratitude for Salma’s understanding, while the family has become a symbol of resilience and respect.

Sohail’s light-hearted post drew an outpouring of admiration from fans, with many calling it a heartwarming reminder that families can thrive with love and acceptance despite unconventional beginnings.
