Brahmavar, Aug 24: In a shocking incident, a 31-year-old man allegedly murdered his parents by striking them with a hammer following a dispute. The incident occurred under the Brahmavar police station limits.

The victims have been identified as Mehammud Ali (55) and his wife Shamshad Begum (50). The accused is their son, Shahid Ali (31).

According to reports, after bludgeoning his parents to death, Shahid himself dialled the emergency number 112 and informed the authorities about the crime. It is gathered that he allegedly committed the gruesome act due to "torture" from his parents over a trivial issue.

Looks like his mental state is not stable. He confessed to the police that his parents were torturing him. He lost his control. Parents should understand that, when child's mental health is not stable... not to irritate him instead take him to the doctor and treat them well ... Poor fellow...May God bless him and heal him. May the departed souls rest in peace..

Really a horrible incident. Long gone those days when children respect and fear their parents. Nowadays even a scolding from parents to correct the behavior of their son/daughter feels "torture" to young generation. Feeling really sad for the parents who met such a tragic end by their own son. Rest in peace....

The amount of torture / punishment our older generations have gone through by their parents in terms of disciplining them or for some farm work - their parents must have dead and gone when they were kids . But , every kids of strict parents have done very well in their life and took care of their parents while they were old and been with them during the end times . What an 55 year old father torture a criminal minded son who could kill them for that ? World is large place to get to solitude and live life than becoming a criminal.

Such sad news! What kind of mindset does the new generation have? Is cruelty becoming an easy escape from difficult situations? No one knows what next and who will be the target and by whom?
